In addition to a successful career in public service, John serves as a project accountant for a multi-billion-dollar construction company, overseeing large-scale financial projects with a keen eye for detail and strategic planning. With expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, John ensures that resources are allocated efficiently and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. John’s financial experience in the private sector and as chair of the city finance committee allows him to work with his fellow City Council members and the Mayor to review and approve the city budget.
Balancing a rewarding career with family life, John is married with two daughters and remains deeply connected to the community, always striving to lead by example and inspire the next generation of public servants and professionals.

In addition, John is instrumental in working with other community members to establish the Guyanese Community Center and Food Pantry in Mont Pleasant.
